Frequently Asked Questions

The Wedding Website of Briley Tryon and Danny Smith
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm. We ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes early. Unfortunately, once the ceremony begins you will not be able to be seated in the ceremony space.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We would love for parents to make a date night out of celebrating our wedding! Invitations will be specific and will include the names of children who are invited to the reception only. ****NO CHILDREN AT THE CEREMONY**** Contact the bride if you have any questions.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We totally wish we had unlimited funds to support this! However, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. For example, if you have a plus one, your invitation will be addressed to "{Your Name} & Guest." If you are still unsure, when typing in your RSVP online, it will specifically indicate if you have a plus one! Thank you for understanding!

Question

How to I find Toast? Is there parking available?

Answer

Our venue, Toast, is in the heart of The District at Prairie Trail in Ankeny, Iowa. Toast will hold both our ceremony and reception. Toast is found on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. There are entrances on both the north and south sides of the building. If you can find the cookie shop called "Cookies and Dreams," the Toast entrance is right next door! Take the elevator to the 2nd floor for the ceremony! But don't worry, we will have our wedding clearly marked! Parking is available on both the north and south sides of the building and is free!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting a cocktail attire dress code. No jeans please, and ladies please refrain from wearing white. (;

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP before September 1st. To RSVP, please click on the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining". If you initially rsvp "attending" and then you are unable to attend any longer, no hard feelings! BUT, please let the bride or groom know so we can change our accommodations.
