Chris and I do not have the traditional love story. However, it was love at first sight- sort of. We went to high school together and didn't pay one another much attention. We knew the other one existed and that was the extent of it. However, when I saw Chris again I remember getting heart eyes and thinking he was my dream boy. I had a boyfriend at the time- shocker and he was in a relationship as well. Over time, we added the other on social media platforms and talked from time to time. When we realized the other was single we decided we would meet up at Sam's Sports Bar in Hendersonville on March 23, 2017 and it was history from there. When Chris got down on one knee, I don't really remember much because I was a MESS. We got home from a perfect day and we were looking at photos of us that his sister-in-law had printed out of us from his brother's wedding earlier that year. Chris told me he was going to get a frame in our bedroom. He came back with the photo in the frame and a red ring box. He asked me to get up and look at the picture, me of course clueless of the box. He got down on one knee and I couldn't stop crying. It was absolutely perfect and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Chris is the most genuine, loving, honest, and loyal person I have ever met and I am honored to walk beside him for the rest of our days.
