If you love coffee as much as we do, we recommend stopping by La Colombe. It’s one of our favorite spots to grab an espresso or cappuccino — whether we’re in NYC or in Philadelphia (It actually started in our new home city of Philly:))
A relaxed spot for breakfast or lunch, one of The Grey Dog locations is somewhere we recommend. It’s one of our go-to places for a casual meal when we need something low-key and easy it is to pop in to. It’s a perfect option if you’re exploring the city and want something comfortable and reliable.
Take a stroll along the High Line while you’re in the city! This beautiful elevated park is one of our favorite places to walk together, offering gorgeous views, unique art installations, and a peaceful escape above the busy streets. It’s especially meaningful to us because we visited it on our very first trip to NYC together — so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
If you have time while you’re in the city, we recommend visiting The Met to explore the current art installations and exhibits. It’s such a special way to spend a few hours and take in some incredible art in one of NYC’s most iconic spaces. Afterward, you can stop by Butterfield Market for a coffee or something to snack on, take a walk through Central Park right across the street, or go for a shopping experience along 5th Avenue.
If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a pre or post-dinner drink, Nubeluz is by far the best choice! It’s one of our absolute favorite places to start the evening — we love the vibes, the stunning city views, and the elevated atmosphere. It’s always a MUST when we are in the city. We hope you’ll stop by, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy it as much as we always do! 🥂 (We recommend making your reservation 2+ weeks in advance)
For dinner one night, we’d definitely suggest MAMO. We love the classic New York City feel — the cozy, old-school decor and lively atmosphere make it such a fun place to spend an evening. It has that timeless, tucked-away vibe that feels quintessentially NYC. And of course, the Italian food never disappoints. It’s one of those spots that feels equal parts special and comfortable, and we always have a great time when we go. (We recommend snagging a reservation 2+ weeks in advance)
