The Story of Brileen

To make a decades worth of memories short:

Eileen and Brian met in high school. Brian played hockey, and Eileen was the team stat manager. They started out as a friendly flirtation, Brian chasing Eileen to various parties and Eileen acting as Brian’s chauffeur before he got his license. They had their first kiss thanks to a friend convincing Eileen to detour her plans and come to his NYE party just for Brian. Throughout their high school relationship, they spent their time ordering mozzarella sticks and milkshakes at Sonic, fishing along the Princeton Canal after school, riding every roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure, and hanging out with friends. Eileen and Brian went on to separate colleges, but visited each other regularly; Brian being titled the Moravian College “Team Boyfriend” by Eileen’s friends, and Eileen frequently being mistaken as the other roommate at Brian’s Rutgers houses. Eileen trekked herself to Brian via car-to train- to bus to see him at Rutgers Newark. Brian traveled further to see Eileen while she was studying abroad in Finland, flying over seas to experience Europe with with her. Even in their working environment, Brian and Eileen spent years working alongside each other at P.F. Changs Chinese Bistro in Princeton, NJ where they made their primary income before graduating. Eileen, being a year older, graduated during the COVID pandemic while Brian completed his final year virtually. It was at this point they surprised their families by adopting the most perfect puppy ever, Roxy. Continuing to live under their parents’ separate homes, Eileen and Brian shared custody of Roxy having her float between the two houses. Brian and Eileen always made sure to dedicate time to each other by making weekly dinner dates dining out, golfing, beaching, hiking various trails, attending concerts, supporting each other in their hockey and whatever hobby Eileen picked up that week, partying down the Jersey Shore, and planning trips most notably to Cape May, Austin, TX, and Punta Cana. In April of 2023 the two decided to take the next step in developing their life together by moving into their home in Somerset, NJ where they currently reside happily with Roxy. At their Somerset home, the two host friends & family regularly, frequent the local dog park, and continue to wine & dine. As self proclaimed drink & food connoisseurs, Brian and Eileen decided to book their next trip to Napa Valley, California in November 2024. There, while enjoying wine, caviar and the incredible view from the patio of Silverado Vineyard, Brian surprised Eileen by getting down on one knee with the most perfectly unique diamond ring. Since then, the two have been loving every second of their engagement from touring venues, food tastings, photoshoots, celebrating with friends & family, and acknowledging every milestone with a special bottle of wine.
