We're Getting Married!

We met officially when both our kids were younger and attending Aunt Jodi's Daycare in Joliet. Jodi had become one of Elizabeth's closest friends over the years and it was with a heavy heart that Jodi was moving away to Tennessee. While at a blowout bash Jodi threw for all the kids that ever attended the daycare, Elizabeth and Nick made a connection. The very next day, Nick asked Elizabeth if her and Tyler wanted to join he and Ashlyn at Heap's Pumpkin Patch that night. It was a great night for a Pumpkin Patch as the weather was cool but not cold. The four of them went with Elizabeth nervous and quiet and if Nick was nervous, no one would have been able to tell. They went into a haunted corn field, got lost in the corn maze, and ran through the hay bales. By the end of the night it seemed the two had made a decision in their heads and hearts. They have been together since that night. It was on May 10th, 2018, that Nick decided to propose. The pair went to a Paint Nite event and Elizabeth had no idea by the end of the evening she would be engaged. They drank and painted and near the end of the evening Elizabeth walked away to pay the waitress (as previously planned by Nick). When she returned, Nick finished up a spot on his painting, turned it around and it read "Marry Me?" Nick got down on one knee and Elizabeth cried. It was a perfect moment for the two and one that will never be forgotten.
