Kimpton Hotel Allegro

This is the new Hotel with a Block. $189/night for a single king bed, or $209/night for 2 double beds. About a mile from the wedding venue and Hotel Palomar (Sunday brunch spot), the Hotel Allegro is a great option to stay. This is the hotel that originally had our room block, though all of the discounted rooms are sold out. Brigitte's parents will be hosting brunch here on Sunday 09/30, 10am - noon. This is a hip hotel with a great bar on the main floor, located 2 blocks from the Kimpton Hotel Palomar. For room options, choose a single queen or double bunks, perfect for 4 singles who want to party it up in upscale hostel style. Parking - $39/night

Transportation

Uber, Lyft, or cab are your best options for transportation from downtown to the wedding venue. Uber rides are ~$8 from Kimpton Hotel Palomar (or other downtown hotels). For those who want to drive, there is free street parking around the wedding venue, but free parking options will be limited. There are a couple ParqEx lots within a few blocks of the wedding venue with parking rates ~$15 - $20.

PARKING - ParqEx

Parking in Chicago can be ridiculously expensive, especially using hotels' garages. ParqEx gives cheaper options and you can find and reserve parking spots in advance. For ParqEx, account creation is required though pricing is better than Spot Hero (see below). Search for spots based on hotel or wedding venue address and Voila! Cheap Parking!
