WHAT IF I MISSED THE RSVP WINDOW?
Answer
You will be missed! Unfortunately, with weddings, we must communicate with our vendors properly to ensure correct numbers. If you missed the deadline, it is marked as a decline. Please contact Daniel or Brigitte if you have any additional questions regarding the RSVP date.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Answer
Dress to impress! We love to see our loved ones dressed up for our big day! Our wedding is ‘beach formal’. Meaning women should plan on wearing floor length or tea length dresses. Men should wear either a suit or a long-sleeved shirt and tie with a jacket and slacks. Solid colors, like light blue (avoiding cream and white), are also recommended. Please no jeans or denim. Both the reception and ceremony will be held outside by the lake. Click the dress code tab for more info & inspiration.

WHERE IS THE WEDDING?
Answer
Our venue is Bay Pointe Inn (Lakefront) located in Shelbyville, MI on Gun Lake. Both the ceremony & reception will be held on the same property, the Lakefront Pavilion.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Answer
Outside! The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception will all be held outdoors. The reception area will be a covered pavilion on the lakefront!

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Answer
In order to keep our wedding as a celebration of love with those closest to us; only the guest(s) formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated for. If you received a plus one, it will appear on your invitation. We are so excited to celebrate with you!

CAN WE BRING OUR CHILDREN?
Answer
Unfortunately not! As much as we love your little ones, we are keeping our night for adults only. Get dressed up, let your hair down and call it a date night!

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
Answer
We can’t wait to party with you! Dinner will be provided. However, our bar will be open for only 4 hours for unlimited drinks beginning after the ceremony. Once this open window has closed, the hangover is officially on you! Please bring your IDs, cash or credit cards to enjoy the rest of the evening!!

Answer
Check out the travel page listed within the tabs at the top of our website. We also do have a limited number of room blocks available through our venue. If there are no longer any rooms left, please utilize the other recommended options!
