To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding! You are more than welcome to bring an additional person or persons with you for your stay, but as far as the events, it is invitation only.
We love the kids, but No. Our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event with the exception of children who are part of the wedding party or the very few who have received special permission from the bride and groom. We truly appreciate your understanding as we plan an intimate celebration with our closest family and friends. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please reach out to us directly.
We kindly request Island chic/Island cocktail attire for our wedding celebration. To complement our wedding aesthetic, we ask that guests avoid wearing White, Ivory, Cream, Solid brown, or shades of deep brown. Light, breathable fabrics are highly encouraged — it will be warm and beautiful in Roatán!
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! Please remember to silence your devices prior to ceremony start.
Our wedding is taking place at the Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa. Staying on property is highly recommended, however there are several other hotels and resorts directly next door to the Kimpton that we would also endorse. They are all connected to the same beach and no more than a 10 min walk or drive to the Kimpton. Please visit the “Travel” section of our website for booking details and accommodation information.
Yes! Although we suggest using our Travel agent Tiarra, you are welcome to book your flights separately through the airline or provider of your choice. Flights do not need to be booked with your resort accommodations.
We recommend arriving at least 1–2 days before the wedding festivities begin so you have time to relax, explore, and fully embrace island time. Definitely consider extending your stay! Roatán offers breathtaking beaches, world-class snorkeling, and unforgettable sunsets. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in paradise in 2027!
Kimpton Grand Roatán is not a traditional all-inclusive resort, but it offers exceptional on-site dining, bars, and amenities for guests to enjoy throughout their stay. More details on dining options and resort amenities can be found in the “Travel” section.
The official currency of Honduras is the Honduran Lempira (HNL). However, U.S. dollars are widely accepted in Roatán, particularly at resorts and tourist locations. We recommend bringing small bills for tips and excursions. Dollar bills must be in good condition, no extreme rips or wrinkles. ATMs are available on the island if needed.
All the hotels have shuttle services to and from the airport, however you would need to reserve it with your specific hotel prior to your arrival. There are also taxis available at the airport. Rates vary from $35-$40 US
