For all international travelers please RSVP no later than November 30th, 2022
A great option instead of renting a car is to go by train. This is quite an ideal and reliable option for travel between main hubs along Denmark & Sweden including the airport, our home and the town where we will host the wedding. If you plan to be getting around Ängelholm city without a car the green and yellow busses are excellent, inexpensive and clean. Green bus #1 takes you from the main train station in Ängelholm to our Home by the beach in the community called 'Havsbaden' or 'the sea bath'. Let us know if you have more questions about this!
It is advisable to rent a car if you are staying longer than 3 days. *Please consider Sweden's strict, zero tolerance enforcement of drinking and driving.
The wedding is formal, a suit and tie event. Feel free to dazzle us.
If you were sent an invitation with a guest addition then please feel free to do so.
As much as we love your children, we have made a decision to have an adult-only wedding. Only the little ones from the immediate family of the bride & groom will be attending the ceremony.
Yes, please review the Travel Tab at the top of the screen to review the options we suggest.
Yes, a main shuttle will be booked between Ängelholm and the wedding venue in Båstad. More details will be provided closer to the date and published under the Travel tab.
The Ceremony at Norrviken Gardens starts precisely at 4.30pm in Victoria Huset. Please feel free to come beforehand and see the magical gardens by the sea. Entrance is free on the day of the wedding to all guests of the happy couple.
Average temperatures in mid-September are around 15°C (63°F). Rain showers are known to occur so rain jackets are recommended. We hope for warm days, but as we do in Sweden, be prepared for anything and plan on layers. We never let a little rain spoil a good time.
Sweden has its own money called the Swedish Kronor but cash is not recommended as almost every place only takes credit or debit cards. Euros are not accepted at all in Sweden. Call your bank and let them know you are travelling so you can use your card abroad.
If you find yourself curious about Swedish lifestyle and customs, check out these websites to brush up on Swedish culture. Swedes have been ranked as some of the happiest people in the world! Most Swedish people speak great English and most would be happy to oblige if you need help while traveling. https://www.lonelyplanet.com/sweden https://theculturetrip.com/europe/sweden/
