We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Therefore this will be an adults-only event. Please plan accordingly for child care.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Cocktail, please! But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose on the dance floor! The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held at indoor spaces.
Yes, check out our Travel page for all the info you need. However, shuttles will not be provided to and from the ceremony at the church. Please note that a shuttle for the reception will only be available to and from the Homewood Suites and RSVP is required. You are not required to stay at the Homewood Suites to RSVP for the shuttle, but if you choose to stay at a different hotel please be sure to arrange separate transportation to and from the Homewood Suites from where you will be staying.
Street parking in downtown Frederick is limited and we encourage as many guests as possible to carpool to the ceremony. Please leave ample time to find parking and arrive at the church by 1:30 pm so that the ceremony can begin on schedule. The most convenient street parking is located in front of the church around Memorial Park and Baker Park on N Bentz Street, Calvary Drive, Memorial Parkway, and W Second Street. Some parking around Memorial Park is free, but please be aware of street signs indicating which streets require paid metered parking and which streets are permitted residential parking only. There are parking garages available in downtown Frederick as well. The closest parking garage is the Church Street Garage (0.3 miles away, 7 minute walk) at 17 E Church St.
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the reception venue.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception are handicap accessible, meaning no stairs.
Yes! We invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials, and we kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony conclusion. We have experienced photographers capturing our day, and we will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding!
Yes! Please come hungry for breakfast the morning after the wedding any time between 9-11 am and for one last chance to say goodbye to the newlyweds. The breakfast will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Frederick, MD (address available on the Travel page). This event is open to everyone but by RSVP only. You may RSVP for the breakfast on the "RSVP" page on this website or by contacting the bride directly.
