See one of the Seven Wonders of the World and we’re NOT talking about Jon’s chest hair! Take a day trip to Niagara Falls!! You can visit the New York side of the falls or bring your passport and go to the Canadian side! Everything is better in Canada - just look at Justin Bieber and Ryan Gosling! Our favorite activities in/near Niagara Falls: •Maid of the Mist •Whirlpool Jet Boat •Skylon Tower •Clifton Hill •Niagara Falls Observation Tower •Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls •Outlet Collection at Niagara •Hershey’s Chocolate World •Hooters (Jon’s go-to spot before he met the Bride!)
Canalside is one of the Bride and Groom’s go-to places in the summer in Buffalo!! If you sit on a bench along the boardwalk it might just be the same bench that the Groom told the Bride he loved her for the first time! Awwww! While you're there, grab a bite to eat or jump into a fun water activity like kayaking or paddleboarding. Good luck if you fall in and swallow some of the river water - it was nice knowing ya! We'll miss you at the wedding!
Make it a competition to see how many wing spots you can go to in one day! Get a bucket of our famous hot wings at each location, bring a bottle of Tums (or two), and ENJOY! A few of our favorite places for wings: •Bar-Bill Tavern •Nine Eleven Tavern •Gabriel’s Gate •Elmo’s •Duff’s
Take a stroll around Elmwood Village!! There are a bunch of cute shops and places to grab a bite to eat. Some places around Elmwood Village that we love: •Inizio •JT’s Restaurant •Forty Thieves •Thinman Brewery •The Place •The Left Bank •Iron Tail Tavern •SATO
Try some food you can only get in Buffalo!! Ted's Hot Dogs: Foot. Long. Hot. Dogs. OH YEAH! Get a Loganberry while you are there! Sponge Candy: Get yourself over to Watson's Chocolate or Parkside Candy to try out a light and airy toffee confection with a porous, sponge-like interior. Copy and pasted that definition from Google but they worded it in a way we never could. Chicken Finger Subs: Jim's Steakout has a fabulous chicken finger sub (somehow tastes even better at 2am). Mighty Taco: We're not sure what exactly is even in the tacos they serve you, but my goodness they are delicious! Beef on Weck: Get some thinly sliced roast beef, served on a weck roll with a little bit of horseradish and au jus from one of our favorite places: •Anderson's •Bar-Bill •Charlie the Butcher •Glen Park Tavern
Many of you know that the Bride and Groom have a problem where they eat 20 açaí bowls a week. Even though it’s less than a 2 minute drive from their apartment, they Uber Eats it anyway! If you’re wondering why some wedding decor looks DIY, it’s because they spent all their money on açaí bowls! Try out one of Squeeze Juicery’s locations for a refreshing açaí bowl, smoothie or wellness shot!!
We know you're all looking for somewhere to get bronzed up! The bride has been getting spray tan's since she was a wee pale lassie. After years of trial and error, including a few accidental Oompa Loompa moments, these are her top recommendations!
