Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Brigid Anne Macy and Gabriel Anthony Torres
Our wedding party is made up of the people who know us best, lifelong friends and family who have walked with us through every season of life. They have shared in our memories, milestones, and everyday moments, shaping our lives in ways both big and small. Each relationship tells its own story, and we feel incredibly grateful to have these special people standing beside us as we celebrate our love and begin this next chapter together.

Shannon

Maid of Honor

Brigid and I go way back, some would say she’s my day one. Lol. She’s the person who taught me the ropes, pushed me to grow, and showed me what hard work looks like long before either of us understood what that meant. Growing up, we had the classic sister chaos. We’d run around, fight, scream, and five minutes later we’d be glued to each other again. No matter what happened, it was always us against the world. We made our own fun: pouring soap on the driveway when it rained, hunting for bugs in the backyard, or playing monster with the family. Over the years, Brigid has become one of the strongest, most caring, and most dependable people I know. She’s the one person I’ve always looked up to. She’s my example of resilience, heart, and loyalty. Brigid isn’t just my sister. She’s my best friend, my mentor, and the person who shaped so much of who I am. She’ll always be my big sis. The one I admire endlessly and the one I’m proud to stand beside on her biggest day.

Bridesmaid

Brigid and I have been friends for the past 15 years which, now that I’m counting, is so crazy to think about. We officially met in the 6th grade when we were placed in the same class, though I knew of her before that because having a mom be a teacher at the school you went to basically made you a celebrity at that age. At the time, Brigid and I were just a couple of tween girls, but I knew this was someone who I wanted to have in my life for the long haul. I had never met someone so genuinely kind, charismatic, and fun to be around. In the early years of our friendship, we went through first crushes, awkward dates to high school dances (although she didn’t choose the right date until the last one lol), and lots of rides in her red PT Cruiser. Since then, we’ve grown up a bit and been with each other through career changes, moves, mortgages and now finally marriage! No matter where life took us, we never left our friendship behind. I’m so honored and grateful to be able to stand by her side while she embarks on this next chapter with Gabe!

Bella

Bridesmaid

I met Brigid in high school. Technically, I met her first in freshman year PE, but she doesn’t remember, so I’ll keep that quiet. 😌 We actually became friends later, senior year, when we were geology partners and had to work together, and that’s when it really clicked. After that, we became sorority sisters in college, and somewhere along the way it stopped being “friends from school” and turned into real sisters for life, cemented when we went to Cancun together and had the time of our lives. We’ve spent countless laughs together and we’ll spend countless more. I’m really honored to be one of Brigid’s bridesmaids. Congratulations, Brigid, I love you and I’m so happy for you both! 💍✨

Estrella

Bridesmaid

This beautiful soul has been my best friend for many years now. She’s one of the few people that really knows me and how I am as a person. We grew up together and became so close in high school. She was the stopper to my sweeper in high school soccer and we were the best when we were together. Growing up we would do everything together from soccer and swim to confirmation, staying up late to do homework, listening to scary stories in the dark, book club, being in my wedding, etc. Brigid and I have stayed close even when I moved away to LA and Sacramento. We spoke to one another like I had never left. Now that I’m back home in Bako I have the pleasure of going through our adulthood together. Brigid and Gabe are an amazing team and have brought out the good in one another. I knew since she went to prom with him in high school that he would be her person. I am so excited for this next chapter in their life and I can’t wait to see how they continue to go through life together.

Shelbi

Bridesmaid

Brigid and I are cousins who grew up more like sisters because we’re only 4 months apart. When I look back on my childhood, every core memory includes Brigid right by my side. From Chuck E. Cheese birthday parties to our dress up fashion shows, from yearly trick-or-treat candy trading to our solo trip to New York City at just ten years old. My fondest childhood memories are so special because we spent them together. Now as adults, I cherish her friendship more than ever as we do the BIG life things like graduate college, enter into our careers, get married and start our families. I couldn’t be more honored to stand by her side for yet another core memory; I can’t believe I get to watch her be the most beautiful bride. Many blessings to Gabe and Brigid as they start this new chapter!

Junior Bridesmaids

Brigid is like the big sister I always wish I had. Growing up with two older brothers always felt like I was trying to make up for not being strong but Brigid always made me feel like I was allowed to do all the fun stuff that girls do. Things like reading romance, getting nails, enjoying going out, and getting drinks and talking about drama, she made me feel like I fit in. I’m happy I have Gabe as an older brother, a role model to look up to and someone who paves the path of what the future can look like but I will forever be grateful he chose the best bride there possibly is, giving me the best sister I could ever ask for. I can’t wait to see what their future will look like.

Cristian

Best Man

Gabriel and I grew up together, and from a young age we were extremely close. We shared nearly every experience, from learning how to swim to navigating our early teenage years. During high school, he told me about a girl he had known since middle school, someone he had reconnected with and was eager to spend more time with, despite her attending a different school. He eventually took her to prom, which is when I first met Brigid and had the opportunity to witness the genuine chemistry they shared.

Alberto

Groomsman

I first met Gabe trying out for the varsity soccer team our sophomore year of high school, both of us grinding to earn our spot on the team. Right from that initial practice, we just clicked. We spent the whole season cracking each other up on the sideline, cheering louder for one another triumphs and mistakes, and sticking around after everyone left to crack some more jokes. The friendship came easy, built on nonstop laughs, hard work, and the kind of connection that made every game more fun. Gabe had made the varsity soccer team but I didn’t so I had to stay on JV, but Gabe decided to stay on JV with me. That decision showed exactly the kind of loyal, big-hearted guy Gabe is, and it’s why I’m so proud to stand next to him on his wedding day.

Christian

Groomsman

I first met Gabe our freshman year of high school in PE. A few days into the school year, I ran into him again at soccer practice when he was trying out for our club team. From that moment on, we instantly clicked and ever since, it’s been nothing but laughs, memories, and a whole lot of good times. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching Gabe grow into the man he is today, and I can honestly say how proud I am to call him my friend. Gabe is the kind of person who goes the extra mile in everything he does—and I mean the EXTRA mile. His passion, determination, and work ethic have always stood out, and simply put, Gabe is a stud. Saying I’m proud of him is an understatement, and it’s truly an honor to stand by him and Brigid on their wedding day. I wish you both nothing but happiness, countless blessings, and an abundance of love. May God guide you as you begin this next chapter of life together. Cheers to Gabe and Brigid! 🥂

Silvestre

Groomsman

Gabe and I have been bro’s since freshman year of high school. We met through soccer, and we’ve been breaking ankles ever since. There hasn’t been a moment where we aren’t laughing and having a good time together. Gabe is the kind of person who lights up a room, if you’ve spent any time around him, he’s forsure made you laugh. But when he’s not making people smile, he’s locked in grinding. Gabe is the definition of hard work, perseverance, dedication, commitment, all of it. I’m proud of the man he’s become and everything he’s accomplished over the last 10 years. I couldn’t be happier to see Gabe and Brigid take their love into this next chapter of life. I wish them nothing but blessings and pray that God continues to guide them both throughout their marriage!

Vic

Groomsman

I met Gabe through the other groomsmen when we were in college. At first we were just casual friends but as the years went by we got closer and closer. I know he’s had ups and downs in life like most of us do, but he’s the type to stay motivated and motivate you. He can be the person you go to when you need a good laugh or the person you go to when you need to lock in on a goal. I can honestly say Gabe has made me want to be the best version of myself by seeing him constantly try to better himself. Brigid brings out the best in Gabe and l’m glad Im able to be apart of this special moment with them.

Tercero (Sal)

Junior Groomsman

I think something people take for granted is having an older brother. Having such a great role model like Gabriel has been so helpful because he’s always been there to give me advice whenever I needed him and he’s been such a helpful person in my life and I'm so grateful to have him. I don’t think I’d be the person I am today without him as he helped toughen me up so I knew not to let anyone at school make fun of me or tease me. He never let our age gap change anything about our relationship and always treated me like a friend when I didn't have many, and for that I'll be forever grateful. The only thing I wish was different about our relationship is that I got to see him more often. It’s comforting to know that he’s out living his best life though. I couldn’t be more proud of him as he’s one of the most successful people I know but definitely the youngest. I’m glad he’s found someone he can enjoy life with in Brigid and I wish them nothing but the best for their future.
