FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You can expect formal invitations to go out around early April, giving you plenty of time to plan and respond. Please RSVP by June 1st so we can finalize our headcount and details for the big day.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Garden Party. This means semi-formal attire with a dressy yet relaxed vibe. Think lightweight fabrics, pastels, and florals. For women, flowy dresses and shoes you can walk on the grass in. For men, light suits or dress trousers with a shirt work well. Avoid heavy materials or stilettos that might sink into the lawn.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that the celebration be adults-only, as we haven’t accounted for additional seats in our headcount. However, we completely understand that traveling with little ones can be challenging! If you have a baby or toddler who can sit on your lap and won’t need a seat, or if childcare is an issue, please reach out—we’re considering making accommodations at the venue to make your attendance possible.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Due to space and planning, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to see you there!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of on-site parking available at Elk Point Event Center. Overflow parking is also available if needed, so you and your guests should have no trouble finding a spot.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:00 PM, so we recommend arriving by 4:40 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before we start.
