For all of you coming into town, we wanted to put together some ideas of ways to explore the Mt. Hood National Forest as well as the rest of the state. Whether you will be in town for a couple days or a couple weeks, below you will find some "must dos" that will help you see why we love this state of ours!

Timberline Lodge

This lodge is a national historic landmark and definitely worth a visit while you're in government camp!

Hood River "Fruit Loop"

So many lavender fields, fruit stands and farms and wineries on Mt. Hood. Check the web site to find the most up to date activities and where to visit.

Trillium Lake Trailhead

National Forest Development Road 2656, Government Camp, OR 97028

Great views of Mt. Hood and a 2 mile hike around the lake.
