If you're in Mount Pleasant, a stop by Shem Creek is a must! Grab a drink at Water's Edge or Red's and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins swimming through the creek.
Arthur Ravenel Junior Bridge & Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park
99 Harry M. Hallman Jr Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
If you need some exercise, it's 5 miles across the bridge and back, and the views are worth the walk, or skip the bridge and take a walk down the pier in the waterfront park for a beautiful view of the harbor and the peninsula.
Sullivan's Island
2056 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, SC
It might not be beach weather, but Sullivan's Island is still worth a visit. Bundle up and take a walk on the beach or grab a burger at Poe's or a Game Changer at Home Team.
Sea Biscuit Cafe
21 J C Long Boulevard, Isle of Palms, SC 29451, (843) 886-4079
One of our favorite places for breakfast. Brigid and her family have been coming here for years. Cash only and no alcohol (if you need a drink, try Acme Lowcountry Kitchen, it's right down the road).
The Windjammer
1008 Ocean Boulevard, Isle of Palms, SC 29451, (843) 886-8596
Brigid's parents met here in 1980! A classic dive bar right on the beach.
