Brightyn and Mitch's story began back in high school- with a fall. Literally. Brightyn saw Mitch slip and fall while running to his car, but instead of being flustered, Mitch laughed it off, and that confidence stuck with her. She thought he was cute, funny, and driven - and admired how he could turn even a fall into a lighthearted moment. Mitch's first impression of Brightyn? He thought she was pretty, confident, and had just the right amount of spunk. After some snapchat banter (and a little bit of a chase), they finally had their first date - spending hours just talking and instantly clicked. A few months later Mitch asked her to be his girlfriend. They dated through high school and college, navigating long distance until it eventually pulled them apart in 2019. But when world shut down in 2020, fate brought them back together. Pandemic dates turned into something real again, and soon they knew their love was meant to last. After graduation and another big move, the two began building a life together in Virginia. Then, on 12.23.24, Mitch proposed during a holiday stroll in Stillwater, Minnesota. Since then, life has only gotten sweeter- especially with their dog Duke, He's their favorite little guy and they're completely obsessed with him. Now Brightyn, Mitch, and Duke are excited to start the next chapter and cant wait to celebrate with you all.
