We're getting married!

Amanda and DJ's love story began at Ursinus College, where they were both in the same advanced chemistry class during the first semester of freshmen year. Despite sharing the class, they didn’t speak until the very last day. Amanda initially thought DJ was “too cool” for his own good. Fate intervened when DJ accidentally broke an Erlenmeyer flask while checking out of the lab. Amanda stepped in to help him navigate the situation. Grateful for her help, DJ promised to finally attend the weekly chemistry dinner he had always skipped because of soccer. True to form, soccer practice ran late, and DJ missed the dinner. However, he noticed a missed text from Amanda, teasingly saying, “Says he’s coming to chem dinner but doesn’t show up.” Determined to redeem himself, DJ showed up late, and the two hit it off, spending the evening laughing and talking. In the following weeks, they studied together for their finals. Their engaging conversations led to an unforgettable bond—though perhaps at the cost of passing their chemistry final. Over winter break, their connection deepened. After a few fun dates, including a 76ers game and an Eagles game, Amanda and DJ officially became a couple, marking the start of their beautiful journey together.
