It was a cold November night in San Francisco, they were celebrating the recent engagement of Gabi and Reinhard at Wild Hare bar. Gabi invited Brigette intending to introduce her to Rob that night, but after pulling an all-nighter studying for nursing finals, Brigette was trying to make any excuse to stay home and sleep. Thankfully, Bianca, her friend, had other plans and was able to convince her to go anyway. Not sure if it was tequila or their mutual Filipino-ness that caused them to gravitate toward one another, but sparks started flying. After having a drawn-out conversation, bonding about being Filipino and the physiology behind the "Asian glow", they became enthralled with one another. Rob sealed the deal by inviting Brigette to brunch the next morning at Zazies (thanks, Bianca). We don't know if there was something in the miracle pancakes that day, but they were inseparable from that moment forward.
