When we decided to get married, we could not resist the serendipity of the date 4-3-21. It seemed symbolic almost. After six years together, we decided to jump... 4, 3, 2, 1. At the time, Covid made everything uncertain. So we chose to keep our ceremony as small as possible and have our good friends Kate & Sam stand as our officiant and witness. We planned to marry at Ping Tom Memorial Park against the backdrop of the city. But, little did we know, life had other plans. We arrived in the morning to find the park was padlocked. It became clear that we were meant to marry in the park that we had spent the last six years visiting almost every day with Ole before he passed. We married that day in El Paseo Community Garden.
