For our wedding day, we have invited the children who are listed on your RSVP. If your plans have changed or you have questions about adding a child, please reach out to Brielleâ weâre happy to connect. All guests, including children, must be included in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. On the flip side, just because we invited your kids does not mean they must join! We are just extending the welcome as we have intentionally planned our weekend so that our nieces and nephews are able to celebrate with us. Reminder for your room blocks, Hyatt Ziva is family friendly but Hyatt Zilara is adult only.

Yes! Please select your transfer to/from the airport as part of the room block booking process. You will get our discounted price by bundling it with the resort booking.
Yes, the resorts are all inclusive. All inclusive means that all meals, snacks, beverages (including alcoholic drinks), onsite entertainment, and many resort activities are included in your stay. Some specialty dining experiences, excursions, spa services, and premium upgrades may be available for additional cost. Details about what is included will be provided when you book your rooms. You will not need to tip at restaurants, bars, bellhops, transportation, butlers, etc. as that is included in the price.
Adults, yes. Children, no. So drop your kids off at the Ziva daycare and you can venture across both properties without them!

All planned events will be updated on our website Wedding Itinerary page and will mostly be on the resort grounds. Anything outside of the resort will be planned out for the group/participants with details shared ahead of time. Please feel free to consult google or chatGPT for more things to do outside of the resort. Although you will not need more activities outside of the resort - the resorts are amazing!
Most travelers visit DR and enjoy their time without any issues! Like any place youâre unfamiliar with, use common sense travel safety - pay attention to your surroundings, keep valuables secured, and follow any guidance from the resort and local authorities. The resort is well staffed and a secure environment. If you choose to explore offsite, just take the usual travel precautions you would anywhere. We want everyone to have a wonderful, worry free trip! Safety is a priority and it is up to all of us to take caution and be aware.
For international travel, ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Since you already have a passport, a Real ID is not required for our wedding travel. We recommend reviewing the resort's specific policies and consulting government travel websites to confirm any additional documentation needed for your unique travel circumstances.
Since the resort is all inclusive, most food, drinks, and activities are already covered. So, you will not need much cash while youâre there. However much you bring is totally up to you and your comfort level and travel style.
Local currency is the Dominican Peso but US Dollar is widely accepted at the resort and in many nearby shops and excursions. Local currency is not required. Most credit cards will work fine and there are ATMs if you need more cash during your stay.
The Wedding Ceremony starts at 4:30 PM Atlantic Standard Time (AST). We suggest being ready and in your seats by 4:15 PM.
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment, so, please unplug and enjoy the ceremony. However, Thursday, Friday, and our wedding cocktail hour and reception are free game for photos!
Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. The hotel is all inclusive, including alcohol beverages.
The #1 question on your mind I am sure! Weâve dedicated a whole page to this topic - Please review our Weekend Attire page.
We are still finalizing all the details and will share more info closer to the wedding date.
Please review our Weekend Itinerary page. We will update closer to the wedding with final details.
Of course not! Our wedding ceremony and reception are obviously the most important events of the weekend! We want to celebrate and enjoy our time together, not force you into funtivities. The excursion is still being explored further but we do not expect everyone to go. Please enjoy your time at the resort and rest/relax as much as possible.
Yes! We are getting married on the beach!
In the event of inclement weather, our ceremony will seamlessly transition indoors. We'll promptly communicate any significant changes to all our guests, ensuring everyone stays informed and comfortable. Itâs going to be an amazing day either way - rain or shine! We shall party on.
Gifts are never expected! Especially for our destination wedding in another country, so please do not waste your luggage space on us! We are happy to have you celebrate this special moment with us (near or far) and are grateful to have you in our lives.
Weâll be sharing our wedding registry in a few weeks! Truly, those who are joining us in Dominican Republic is more than enough gift to usâwe mean it. That said, we know some of our very generous friends and family wonât take no for an answer⌠and who are we to stand in the way of that kind of enthusiasm? đ
Brendan! LOL - just kidding! Text Brielle.
