We are Eloping!

Nathan and Brie met in high school where they quickly became two teenagers in love. Neither of them thought they’d remain together through college or their early adult years. Fortunately, they were both wrong. From 16 years old to now they have traveled around the world (their favorite thing to do together), purchased a home, adopted 3 fur babies, and continue to grow and love together.

For the past few summers, Brie and Nathan spent their few days off together at Nathan’s family beach house in Groton Long Point, CT. It quickly became their favorite place to relax after their busy work weeks. Drinks, sunsets, and many walks with Moira Rose became a Sunday/Monday ritual. Brie and Nathan had a big trip to France planned for September 2022, where everyone thought Nathan would pop the question. Nathan decided too many people assumed it would happen there and had to come up with a different plan. Instead, Nathan thought about their weekly trips to GLP and knew it would be the perfect spot to propose. After dinner and a walk with Moira, Nathan and Brie headed to the beach with a packed cooler and a blanket to watch the sunset (something they did every time they went to the beach house). Nathan asked Brie to marry him that night! (Finally!!!)
