Brie and I are incredibly grateful to all of our family and friends and humbled by everyone’s love and support throughout this chaotic journey we have been on. If you are reading this, then you know that we had to make the very difficult decision just a few days before our wedding that we would not be getting married on March 21, 2020 like we had originally planned and dreamed. While this was a heartbreaking decision, it was not nearly as heartbreaking as the idea of putting our loved ones at risk.
If there is anything that this year has taught us, it is how strong our relationship is and has gotten. We have been devastated to not spend this year as we originally thought. We imagined ourselves married and taking a trip of a lifetime to Europe to start the beginning of our lives together. Unfortunately, Corona seems to have had other plans for us but we are thrilled to announce that we are moving forward with our new date of December 5th. While it has taken some re-planning and poor Brie has gone crazy planning yet another honeymoon trip that seems like it will need to be postponed, we are more ready then ever to FINALLY be married. (Although, if you ask me, I think she’s more excited about this new Disney Honeymoon she has planned.) While our wedding plans and honeymoon plans have had to change to keep up with these unprecedented times, we did make the big decision to buy our first home together. We want to send a big thank you to all of you who had already contributed to our honeymoon fund that was supposed to be used on our big Europe trip this past summer. We will use your generous gifts on Brie's Disney Trip of a lifetime. As we are unsure of the circumstances that will be present during December, we have taken down the honeymoon fund and replaced it with a wedding gift registry to help us continue to make our new house feel like home. If there is anything our last wedding taught us, it is that plans can change at any moment. Please use this website as the best way to know the latest details on our wedding date.
