A Marriage at Long Last

A girl's night out, ruined by an older brother

As all great Pennridge alum romances begin, their night started at the historic Perkasie landmark, 'The Perk'. Maggie, friend of the bride and younger sister of the groom, was in town from Pittsburgh and decided to have a girl's night at the classy establishment. Little did she know her older brother/groom, Chris, had the same plans. After Chris and his buddies finished up their collective dinners', they made their way over to the bar area to inevitably crash the ladies' reunion. This would take place in the form of libations, banter, and Chris hitting on Brie for 3 straight hours. After the classic Perkasie night out, Chris went to his sister to beg for Brie's number. He played it coy stating 'I think I was a little too hard on her last night. I made a lot of jokes at her expense. I just want to apologize.' ...A classic move--he knew he played it perfectly. After many attempts to text and start conversations (and being ghosted), Chris and Brie finally started to communicate regularly. He invited her up to his place, the texts and calls became more frequent, and after a few (extremely long months) he finally started to refer to her as his girlfriend. A few (extremely long) years later, they're engaged to be married. As Chris writes this he can say he's truly ecstatic to start his life with Brie (hopefully she feels the same).
