A little bit about Kait and I. Growing up our hobbies included: playing spy with Snapple lids glued to paper, collecting shiny tar "rocks" on construction sights and re-gifting nail/screw/bolt treasures to our dad on holidays. We also covered for one another when up to mischief, stayed up late on school nights to play Stratego (only to have Kait win each time and me destroy the board), went TPing with friends, and had sister sleepovers. We told each other everything and I'm so blessed to have that same close and loving relationship to this day! Kaitlin lives in Winston Salem, NC with her husband, Nick and dog, Boomer. I love Kait and am so thrilled to have her as my matron of honor!
Morgan Flinn

Morgan is my gorgeous inside-and-out middle sister. She is pursuing a Master's degree in school counseling. Morgan's heart is an example of the way my heart should be everyday, and she continues to teach me more about being humble, compassionate, patient, loving, kind, empathetic, and encouraging. Morgan is the best person if you want to sit and talk about life, grab some coffee, snuggle, smile and laugh all day. Growing up, we enjoyed sledding down Dunlap hills, making up dance routines in the basement, going to Coldstone, shopping, going to church together and talking about Jesus for hours. Morgan is the best middle sister I could ever want!
Maddie Flinn

Maddie and I are pretty much the same person. She has a crazy, fiery, humor to her, but also has one of the most loving hearts. Maddie is someone from whom I will always get the truth. I'll never forget her birth and getting to hold her in my arms. I was one proud big sister. From dancing in the basement, tumbling on the trampoline, screaming at each other, and to contributing to her receiving stitches on her eyebrow... (twice)... she has always been my little buddy. Maddie is currently about to finish her last year of high school, and will be attending Liberty University in the fall! SO CRAZY. She is very smart, and has an enormous love for dogs. She is still figuring out what she wants to do once she's graduates, but I know whatever she chooses, she will conquer the world!

Sam is Alex's sister, and I couldn't be more honored to have her standing next to me as my sister on our big day. I know she's screaming "THANK GOD, I HAVE A SISTER," from the rooftops. ;) When I first met Sam, I knew we were going to be extremely close. She is one of the easiest people to talk to and you can see her beautiful heart from a mile away. I also know where Alex gained all of his knowledge... his little sister. She is one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. I remember talking at their family hangout spot, and thinking how cool she was. We ALWAYS die laughing when we're together, and I'm so thankful to get the chance to be her sister.

I knew Jannah was going to be a sister for life, as soon as she walked into the SIUE dance team tryouts. I was sitting on the floor stretching, and this blonde, sassy girl walks in like she owned the place. I was scared of her confidence, but quickly found her to be the most refreshing, vibrant, uplifting, and funny person. Jan quickly became apart of the Flinn family, and I a part of hers. She has always been my saving grace, and would drop anything to be there for her Flinn twins. I've never had a more loyal and loving friend. I am so thankful for our forever friendship and thrilled to have her stand beside me on Alex and my big day!
Taylor Lavallo

Tay baby!!!!!! Pretty sure I scared this chick away as soon as I met her. I had organized a trivia night with our friends, and her husband Dion knew Alex and I, but Taylor and I had not yet met. SO, they came to game night, and I was so excited to meet her, that I stood out on the balcony waving my arms ferociously, screaming their names. (face palm) I instantly loved her because she laughed at everything I said and was super positive and affirming. She was the light in the room. After that initial hangout, the rest was history! We just clicked, and she's one of my best friends here. I am so thankful for her friendship and love towards Alex and I. I can't wait to continue our friendship into this new stage of life.

Ash and I became super close friends right away. Our boyfriends had met in recovery, and I needed another woman who was going through a similar circumstance. I remember when I first met her, I was blabbing on, and I'm sure I was super overwhelming. I think I even pulled the "God" card on her. HAHAHA! She wasn't even that turned off by me, thank the LORD. She quickly opened up, and we had great conversation. She quickly became one of my best friends here in Charlotte. I am so thankful for her support, love, and friendship. I don't know if I could have made it through the past year without her.

Ev is just like her older cousin in knowing exactly what she wants! Evelyn is extremely thoughtful and sweet. She loves spending time with her family and new puppy! We always have so much fun going to Starbucks, and cooking in her easy bake oven. I am so thankful to share my special day with her.

Keals is also like her older cousin in that she is extremely hard headed and confident! I love this about her. She's a sassy, smart, and funny girl who loves to do crafts and make slime. We love hanging out and playing games, or just kickin' it on the couch. She's my go-to girl if I want to laugh. I am so excited she is standing with me on my special day!

My greatest influence. My dad is a man who I've modeled my life after in many ways. He has always been my rock and biggest supporter. I am so grateful, not only for what he has done for me, but for the struggles he has endured with me, all while never leaving my side.

First kid to talk to me on my first day at a new school in 6th grade. We talked hoops and football forever. Kid was, and still is, a stat machine. Nick Cast has always been like a brother to me. We are very similar in our talents and abilities. I've always connected easily with Nick over the years, even after periods of time without communication, we'd pick up right where we left off.

Nick has a lot of my respect. He is one of the hardest-working, most focused people I know. We became close when he and I both were going through some tough times in our lives. Nick and Kaitlin are two people I felt were like family from the very beginning.

I have only known Luke for a short time, but man, this is a guy I already consider a lifelong friend. His faith and spiritual walk are inspirational to me. I like to think that we both push and support each other in that area as well. Luke and Morgan are incredible people. Grateful to have them in my life.
Dion Lovallo

I have told him this before, but Dion Lovallo truly helped save my life. I am eternally grateful to this kid. I will never forget the day I called his treatment center, which was really his cell phone number. He was welcoming and told me he'd save a bed for me as long as I needed to make it from Raleigh to Charlotte. I spent almost 50 days in Carolina Center for Recovery. It was not an easy road by any means, but Dion and his wife Taylor have played an instrumental part in my sobriety, and I will never forget that.

Ryan is a friend I've grown very close with over the past year. It's funny how similar our stories are. The kid is gifted intellectually-- and on the court! We have helped and supported one another, as well as our girls through a difficult chapter in all of our lives. I couldn't be more thankful to call this man a friend.
