Can I take pictures during the Ceremony?

Answer

We love having our picture taken but not during the ceremony. We would prefer no pictures were taken during this time so the photographer can do their job, and to allow everyone to be present in the moment instead of viewing it through the screens on their phone. Once the ceremony has concluded, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

Are there any COVID-19 restrictions?

Answer

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and uncertainty surrounding restrictions this summer, we are asking all of our guest to bring a mask with them. As of right now, masks are required at the Church for our ceremony and some Gettysburg restaurants/bars.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

If your invitation was not addressed to "Family" or your children are not part of the wedding party we would prefer the children were left with a baby sitter so you can enjoy your night off! If you have concerns about obtaining childcare, please let us know in advance!

Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What is the dress code?

Formal attire, please!

What is the transportation situation?

Answer

We will provide transportation from the Gettysburg Hotel and the 1863 Inn to the Reception location and back! You will be responsible for getting yourself to the Chapel for the Ceremony.

What is the bus schedule after the ceremony?

Answer

3:30 PM - Bus pick up at The 1863 Inn 3:45 PM - Bus departs The 1863 Inn 3:50 PM - Bus pick up at The Gettysburg Hotel 4:00 PM - Bus at the Gettysburg Hotel departs to Stocks Manor 10:00 PM - Buses depart Stocks Manor for Hotels
