Why San Luis Obispo?

Answer

We met here during college and hit it off on the very first day. It took us a little while (and a few plot twists) to realize we were meant for each other, but we finally got there! We started dating here, got engaged here, and now we’re getting married here. Talk about a full-circle moment!

What made you decide the 4th of July?

Answer

We chose the Fourth not just because it was one of the two dates we were offered, but because now we get free fireworks every anniversary and a guaranteed day off to celebrate.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Yes, San Luis Obispo does have an airport! It’s adorable, tiny, and convenient, but it’s also a little bougie when it comes to airfare. If you're looking for a more wallet-friendly flight, you’ve got options! Santa Barbara is about 1.5 hours away (perfect for a scenic drive and a podcast or two), and Los Angeles is about 3 hours away, on a good day with no traffic. Either way, buckle up and just remember: it’s all for love (and free drinks).

Can I smoke?

This venue has a very strict no-smoking policy, like $1,000-strict. If you light up, you’ll be personally contributing to their ‘we mean it’ fund. So please don’t. We love you, but we will not be paying that fine.. you will. SMOKE FREE ONLY!

What if I drink too much at the reception?

Answer

The age-old wedding question: “What happens if I accidentally overachieve at the open bar?” Good news! You can leave your car overnight in the parking lot, no judgment here. Just make sure to grab it by 11 a.m. the next day. Uber or Lyft, whatever gets you home safe and sound!

When are you going to have kids?

The classic question: When are you having kids? Great question, no idea. For now, we’re just going to enjoy married life, sleeping in, and not sharing our snacks. Future us can worry about that!
