We’re Getting Married

Ajamu and Bridgette met for the first time online! Bridgette came across his page and noticed the last sentence read,” If you want to know more, drop me a line.” She subsequently jumped in his DM’s and said, "Hello, ...” (Yes, she literally dropped a line). Bridgette didn’t actually expect Ajamu to respond, but he did! She was excited to see that he understood and appreciated her silly ways, and this began their years of love, family, and travel.

Bridgette was about to undergo her first surgery ever in life and was beyond nervous! As she was feeding Hershey and about to have another breakdown, Ajamu held her and hugged her giving support. He began feeling for my hands and she thought he was noticing that she took her nails off (because in her mind germs were going to get under her nails and she was going to infect her incisions. She then felt him slide the ring on her finger and speak softly in my ear, “ Will you marry me”! She totally forgot about the fear of the surgery and was overwhelmed with joy! She told all the hospital staff!
