Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 30th.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire - We recommend a suit & tie or formal separates, dressy jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, and floor-length dresses. Please no jeans and t-shirts.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We can only accommodate those who have a guest specifically stated on their invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of your children, this will be an adult only event, with the exception of children in our immediate families.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when RSVP's open, we will have a comment box for you to list allergies/food requests.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at Pen Ryn Estate Rivers Edge.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel page for the wedding room block information for booking at the Hotel Monaco. There are other hotels in the area of Pen Ryn Estate but transportation will only be provided from Hotel Monaco in Old City Philadelphia to the venue, Pen Ryn Estate and back to the hotel at the end of the night. Other hotels near Hotel Monaco include Renaissance Philadelphia Downtown Hotel, Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District. These hotels would offer a quick walk to Hotel Monaco to be able to utilize the bus to and from the venue. Other hotels near the venue that are quick driving distance to the venue include, Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Bensalem and Raddison Hotel Philadelphia Northeast and Hampton inn & Suites Philadelphia/Bensalem.

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

Yellow school buses will transport guests from Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia to Pen Ryn Estate - River’s Edge in time for the ceremony and back at the end of the night. Yellow school buses will be parked on 5th street at the corner of 5th Street and Chestnut Street and will depart for the ceremony at 3:30pm.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors unless the weather doesn't cooperate and we are expecting inclement weather or excessive heat. Cocktail Hour and the Reception will be indoors with A/C. The space also opens out to a patio for use during the reception.
