The weather in Kauai in November is unpredictable. Come prepared for any kind of weather – heat, wind, rain, cold. The hotel is on the east side of the island and is predictably windy and potentially rainy that time of year. Bridget and Justin have a plan B, in case of hurricane-force winds and rain but plan to get married outside in wind and/or minor rain. The reception is also outside but in a tent. Be prepared for anything.
Wedding attire is Hawaiian cocktail-ish attire. Women can wear a nice sun dresses and sandals. The grass can be soft so I wouldn’t recommend spiked heels! Guys can go with khakis and flip flops. Be prepared for hot and sunny or sunny and windy or rainy or rainy and windy. We will be outside or in a tent for the majority of the wedding and reception.
No. There are many condos available for rent surrounding the resort. Most of these allow full access to the amenities at the resort but it's worth checking to be sure. Do what makes you comfortable!
Bridget and Justin will be renting several vans for the week. They will use them for events as well as helping with transport too and from the airport. This is not a very "walkable" location. If you feel like you might want to go out and adventure around the island, having a rental car is advisable If you choose to rent a car, keep in mind that the resort does charge a parking fee.
