One of John & Bridget's favorite date spots! This French-style bakery and café offers artisan breads, pastries, breakfast, lunch, and coffee. In addition to the address listed above, there is also a La Farm location in downtown Cary that offers counter-service. (Recommended Favorites: Poulet au Fromage Sandwich, and White Chocolate Mini Baguette)

Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant
Bridget's all-time favorite restaurant! Irish Pub featuring classic dishes such as Boxty, Shepard's Pie, Reuben, etc. They also serve Barry's tea, and have an excellent bar with creative specialty cocktails. (Recommended Favorites: Irish Eggrolls, Goat Cheese Salad, Bailey's Chocolate Mousse, and Traditional Bread Pudding.)
Scratch Kitchen & Taproom
Claim to fame is that everything is "made from scratch" (hence the name!) Cuisine is Southern-Asian fusion. Great for large groups, because there is something for everyone on the menu. They have particularly great appetizers and highly creative specialty cocktails! There is a Cary location, and an Apex location. The Apex location is attached to a late-night dessert bar! (Recommended Favorites: Pimento Cheese Wontons & the Flank Steak Salad with Goat Cheese).

Sit-down dinner restaurant with a classy, romantic atmosphere. The menu highlights dishes rooted in classic Southern flavors with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients (ex: shrimp & grits, skillet fried chicken, jambalaya, catfish and other regional favorites with modern twists).
