Our story began with a friendship between Bridget and Jet’s sister, Ari, who worked with Bridget at the University of Utah Emergency Department. The two became fast friends and took a road trip to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl, where Bridget met Jet and his family for the first time. A few weeks later, they returned to California to celebrate Jet’s birthday. We spent the weekend laughing, talking for hours, and feeling like we had known each other for years. Our connection was instant, and we began falling for each other faster than either of us expected. What followed was the beginning of a long-distance relationship, but not for long. Jet decided to leave Orange County and moved to Moscow, Idaho so we could be together while Bridget was in medical school. Eventually, we made our way to Seattle, where life has been filled with morning coffee walks, farmers markets, and date nights in the city. No matter where life takes us, we are happy simply doing it together. From medical school and rotations to building careers and businesses, we’ve supported each other while creating a life we genuinely love. More than anything, we are best friends who get to share each day together, and no matter where we go, being with each has always felt like home. Our relationship has always been built on deep trust in one another, a love that is passionate and unwavering, and a feeling of complete safety and comfort with one another. From the very beginning, we were completely drawn to each other, and that feeling has only grown stronger over time. We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other. We are so excited to begin this next chapter and celebrate this day with the people we love most.
