Things To Do
There are bike rental places all over the island along with a Red Bug service (very nice golf carts) if you choose to adventure the island that way. There are four beaches to explore, plenty of restaurants downtown as well as on the beach.
For kids there is putt-putt golf every day right near the convention center. There is an ice cream shop in old downtown called the Sweet Shop located at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel and a unique downtown shopping area also located at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.
A recommended local seafood restaurant that is about 20 minutes away from the Island is called Iguanas Seafood located on St. Simons Island that has been voted Georgias best fried shrimp multiple times and also has a very cute downtown shopping area with plenty of activities and restaurants to choose from.
