FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

May 2, 2027, is the last day to RSVP. If you are struggling to RSVP, please contact the couple or a close family member, whichever is easiest, and we will assist you.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 5:00 PM. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to mingle, find your seats and get settled before the ceremony beings.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love for our guests to embrace a Spring/Summer Cocktail Attire dress code - think elevated, colorful, and celebratory. Bright colors, playful prints, and fun florals are highly encouraged. For men, we recommend suits, dress pants with a blazer, or a polished cocktail look. Ties are optional. For woman, cocktail dresses of any length, dressy jumpsuits, and chic pantsuits are all welcome. Our venue and season lend themselves to light, vibrant, and festive attire, so feel free to have fun with your look while keeping it wedding-appropriate and semi-formal. Kindly avoid overly casual attire such as jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, athletic wear, or baseball caps. We also ask guests to refrain from wearing white or ivory tones traditionally reserved for the bride.

Question

What about my kids?

Answer

Outside of very few exceptions, we kindly ask for this wedding to be adult only. Along with that, there will be no "kid's menu" available for the reception. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you invitation includes a plus one, their name will appear when your RSVP on our website.

Question

Can i take pictures and/or videos?

Answer

We've hired an incredible team of professional photographers and videographers to capture every special moment. During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras tucked away so everyone can be fully present and our team can do their best work. Once cocktail hour begins, we'd love for you to snap photos, capture memories, and share in the celebration!

Question

Parking and where should i stay?

Answer

We're arranging room blocks at several nearby hotels (details coming soon!) and encourage guests to stay within walking distance of the venue whenever possible. Our recommended hotels with all be within a 5-10 minute walk of Carnegie Hall, so transportation won't be necessary for most guests staying overnight. If you won't be staying overnight nearby, there are several convenient parking options close to the venue: - Street Parking: Metered street parking is available throughout downtown Newport. Please be sure to check posted signs for rates and time limits. - Public Parking Lots & Garages: Several public parking lots and garages are located within a short walk of Carnegie Hall, including options at City Center Parking Garage and Newport on the Levee Parking.

Question

I want to gift an item from your registry, do i have to do it online through the registry links?

Answer

Short answer, no. We understand several of the items we've listed are sold through multiple stores online and in person. All we ask is that you mark the item as purchased if you don't use the links on our registry. For your convenience, items purchased through our online registry have the option to be shipped directly to us so you can be hands free the day of the wedding.
