FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.  Ladies should wear cocktail dresses or pant suit, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Typical weather for February in San Diego is 66°/ 51°. We average 4 days of rain throughout the month. The plan is to hold the reception in a shaded outdoor courtyard from 2-5 pm. It can get quite chilly in this spot. Please do bring a coat! In case of rain, the reception will be held indoors.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at First Presbyterian Church, San Diego. The address is 320 Date Street, San Diego, CA 92101. There are two parking lots owned by the church and plenty of street parking nearby as well. The site is wheelchair accessible.

Question

What happens after the ceremony

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about 30 minutes.  Guests can head straight downstairs to the reception courtyard where we will be serving street tacos, sides, and refreshments. Please begin to enjoy the food and live music. Vegetarian options are available. It’s unassigned seating.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes they are. We understand finding childcare can be challenging and expensive. We would like the ceremony to be as quiet and uninterrupted as possible, so please use your discretion if you decide to bring them to the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We must adhere closely to our guest list to stay on budget.  Our wedding is RSVP only. If you would like to bring along a date not specified on the invitation please contact us directly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 30, 2019. Giving our vendors an accurate headcount at least two weeks prior to the wedding is necessary. Ideally, the RSVP would be submitted online to help us keep track and organized.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Zola and Amazon. Our Zola registry has a link to our Amazon registry as well.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer
