FAQs

The Wedding Website of Bridget Dincher and Emily Tudorache
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are keeping our celebration intimate so we have time to spend with each and every one of our loved ones! Please only bring a plus one if listed on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would like our guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Keep in mind Orcas can be chilly in the spring, so come prepared with layers for our outdoor ceremony.

Question

Can my children come with me?

Answer

While we love the children in our lives, our ceremony and reception will be for us adults only.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

There are many places to stay in Eastsound that are walkable to Odd Fellows Hall! If you are staying outside town, a car will be necessary to get to the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Free street parking on the street near Odd Fellows Hall as well as street parking in town, all walkable to the venue.

Question

How do I get to Orcas Island?

Answer

The most common way to reach the island will be by ferry leaving from Anacortes. Ferries will require a reservation. For more information on travel to and from Orcas as well as transportation on the island itself, please see our "Travel" page.

Question

How do I use the Washington State Ferry?

Answer

The ferry from Anacortes to Orcas Island will require a reservation BOTH WAYS. You will make your round trip reservation for your car and all passengers through the WSDOT website ( https://secureapps.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/reservations/vehicle/default.aspx?op=Make+reservations ). We recommend making your reservation as early as possible, with tickets releasing three months before the spring season in mid-February. You should anticipate arriving to the ferry terminal at least 45-60 minutes before your scheduled sailing time.
