Dorien and Bridget’s journey began in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, when they met on the dating app Hinge. From their very first date at The Fireplace Inn in Old Town Chicago, their connection was instant and undeniable. What began as a spark quickly grew into something lasting, and they have been inseparable ever since. On a beautiful, sunny fall day — October 18th, 2024 — Dorien proposed at Museum Campus near the Adler Planetarium, surrounded by the stunning Chicago skyline and the lake. The following summer, they exchanged vows in an intimate, family-only ceremony on June 28th, 2025, at the serene Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in Lincoln Park. Dorien and Bridget are overjoyed to continue celebrating their love with family and friends on June 26th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. They can’t wait to share this special day with all those who have supported and loved them along the way.
