What’s the weather like in Napa during October?

Answer

October in the Napa Valley is perhaps the most beautiful time of year to come to wine country. Visitors from around the world plan their vacations to coincide with the marvelous tapestry of color that adorns the Napa Valley in autumn and the famous crush of Napa Valley’s famous wine. The average October temperature in Calistoga is 62 degrees, with an average high of 79, and an average low of 46 degrees. It is hard to think of more perfect weather conditions. Don’t be surprised if you experience an Indian summer during your October visit to Napa Valley. While average high temperatures have cooled down from those in August, we usually have a period of very warm weather during October. The weather most evenings should be ideal, and at night, you will probably want a light jacket or sweater.

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

San Francisco is about an hour and half from Napa and Oakland is about an hour. We have always flown to San Francisco. There are plenty of flight options.

Should we rent a car?

Answer

Wherever you fly into there is an hour, to hour and a half commute to Napa. We usually rent a car when we go. You can hire a driver or even Uber if you would like. Uber and Lyft will be readily available once you are in Napa Valley. There will not be shuttles to the venue the day of the wedding.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Everyone that is coming to the wedding is invited to the rehearsal dinner!
