Our wedding will be formal attire. We invite guests to wear a dark suit, long gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or elevated pant suits. The ceremony will be in a church, followed by a formal reception. September in Door County can bring cooler evenings on the water, so we recommend bringing a light jacket, shawl, or wrap to stay comfortable. Most importantly, we want you to feel at ease while celebrating with us.
Yes! Buses and trolleys will run between the Landmark Resort and all wedding events. Pickup and drop-off will be at the main reception area. Heads up – rideshare apps are not very reliable in Door County! Here’s the full rundown: Friday – Welcome Party Trolleys depart the Landmark Resort at 7:30 PM. Return trolleys depart Woodwalk at 10:00 PM, with runs beginning earlier for those who want to turn in a little earlier. Saturday – Ceremony Buses depart the Landmark Resort at 1:15 PM for the 2:00 PM ceremony. We recommend being at the pickup area a few minutes early! Buses return to the Landmark following Mass, around 3:00 PM. Saturday – Reception Buses depart the Landmark Resort at approximately 4:45 PM for cocktail hour. Return buses will begin running around 9:00 PM through the reception’s end at 11:00 PM. Not staying at the Landmark? There are a few options to help you get home safely. The reception will be in a tent outside. The sides of the tent will be open for fresh, fall air!
We love all of the kiddos, however, this wedding will be adults only.
You do not have to stay at the room block, but it will have organized transportation to and from the events for the weekend. However, there are also are great AirBnbs and other hotels. Other hotel options include The Newport Resort (Egg Harbor), Hillside Waterfront Inn (Ephraim), Eagle Harbor Inn (Ephraim), White Gull Inn (Fish Creek), Edgewater Resort (Egg Harbor), and more.
Yes! Horseshoe Bay does have a parking lot. If you plan to pick up your vehicle the next morning, please plan to pick it up no later than 9 AM.
