Yes, all wedding events will take place at Piedmont Community Church (400 Highland Ave, Piedmont, CA). The Ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm inside the church sanctuary. At the conclusion of the ceremony, there will be an outdoor cocktail hour with light refreshments and drinks. Dinner and dancing will take place inside the church's Guild Hall following cocktail hour.
Formal Attire is requested. Female guests are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns, fancy cocktail dresses, or dressy pantsuits. Male guests are encouraged to wear suits with ties and jackets. Avoid white, ivory, and champagne colors. Weather consideration: The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors, while cocktail hour is outdoors in the church courtyard from about 4-5pm. While weather isn't a major concern since we will mostly be indoors, Bay Area weather can fluctuate quickly so it is encouraged to always bring a coat or jacket just in case. The current weather forecast looks to be mid-50s to high 60s for reference.
While there is no designated parking available to guests, Piedmont is a safe residential neighborhood that has lots of open street parking. You may see a small parking lot for Piedmont Community Church, however this is unavailable to guests as it is required for emergency vehicles only. As such, we recommend carpooling or taking Uber or Lyft. Keep in mind that although Piedmont is known to be very safe, it is still highly encouraged that you do not leave any belongings visible in your vehicle (as is common rule of thumb for most cities in the Bay Area).
No. For guests that decide to smoke, you must leave the church property and first walk down to the street before doing so. We will be fined on behalf of any guests that smoke on church property, so we appreciate your cooperation!
