Question

Is there Transportation from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a shuttle going from the hotel to the venue and back for people who do not want to worry about driving their car after a night of revelry. The shuttle will arrive at the Hampton Inn at 4:30 and will depart for the venue promptly at 4:40. This first wave will make it in time for the ceremony. The shuttle will return for a second wave and will make it in time for the beginning of cocktail hour. If you cannot make it in time for the first shuttle, Lyft and Uber are also good options. Please note that the venue locks their parking lot at the end of the night, so cars cannot be retrieved until they re-open the next day (anywhere from 11am-2pm), so if you'll be drinking, please consider the shuttle or rideshare options. At the end of the night, after 10, the shuttle will make a return trip to the hotel. Additional trips during the reception can be arranged with the driver; we will update with a phone number before the wedding.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! A selection of Washington wines and beer, as well as a couple of signature cocktails and basic mixed drinks.

Question

How far is the venue from Seattle?

Answer

Under normal driving conditions, it is about 40 min. from Seattle, so we have a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Puyallup for convenience. However, Seattle rush hour traffic starts at 3, so please allow extra time to get to the hotel or the venue as could take up to an hour longer. If you are visiting for more than one night, we recommend booking a place in Seattle for the rest of your stay!

Question

Are my kids invited?

Answer

If your invitation says "Family" after your last name, then yes! There is a little playground at the back of the venue but kids must be supervised at all times.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

The caterer will label each dish. If you would prefer a vegetarian or vegan entree, please tell one of the servers.

Question

What is the weather usually like?

Answer

The average high temperature is 78 degrees and the average low is 52. It very rarely rains here in the summer. Please note that both the ceremony and reception are outdoors, so while it is generally very nice you may want to bring a sweater or light jacket for when it gets cooler at night.

Question

What if I have ADA requirements?

Answer

Please let us know on your RSVP card or when you RSVP on our website so we can accommodate you.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Cocktail dresses, LBDs, jackets and slacks; whatever you feel comfortable in! Both the ceremony and reception will be outside so you may want to bring a sweater or jacket in case it gets cool.
