How We Met

January 12 2018

I can't speak for Caleb, but this is how it went for me. It was my first year second semester of college at Midlands tech, the same as Caleb. I made it to my third class of the day on time (from the other side of campus I might add). The class had already started when in walks Caleb: Tall, flustered, and slightly out of breath. I told myself right then that I was going to marry him. He was always in a hurry but he would wait to hold the door for me everyday after class, I would whisper thanks and hurry the opposite way. Well one day he held the door open and I could see him glance at me out of the corner of my eye and in doing so, he tripped going off the side walk. Don't worry, the only thing he hurt was his ego. It was shortly after that that I got in contact with him through our school website, and a week after that we went on our first date. First date: Movie at AMC (Game night) Rush's after

How We Met

January 12th 2018

I came into my English 101 class, late of course on the first day, and she was sitting in the front row table. We lined up based on birth month and day. That was when everyone learned the Bridget's birthday was the day before. After class I was going out the door and checked to see if anyone was behind me and she was kinda far but I decided to just wait and hold the door open. Then when she walked through and quietly and cutely said "thanks". I started noticing she got there early and sat on a bench before the class started so I started going earlier and eventually sat next to her. She messaged me online on our school messaging thing for classmates. I didn't notice she messaged me and told me happy valentines until it was a day or few after valentines. So I told her happy belated valentines and asked for her number. talked for a week and went on our first date on the 24th of February. Best date I had ever been on.

Our Ceremony

May 30, 2021

We had originally decided to have our ceremony separate so that it would be easier: less people = less stress. Which at the time made sense. We also did it because we thought it would be fun and easier to just show our ceremony like a movie at our reception. That way everyone got to see up close, the background stuff, and we wouldn't have to fight with setting up chairs for the ceremony then for the reception for 150, it was just 30ish people. Of course you never have control of a situation, not totally. Especially when you're in nature too. Not only did our videographer not get the ceremony, but we had a few unexpected guests. While setting up there was a snake in the tree we were getting married under and even though a few groomsmen were able to get it down and out of the way, another one came and climbed up later. We also had a very friendly wild turkey show up and steal the show, she was a sweetie though. While we are disappointed and heartbroken about the ceremony video, I wouldn't have changed a minute of it. It was perfect and I was so caught up in absolute bliss I couldn't possibly change anything about the day. I got to marry my best friend after all.
