What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail/formal attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear dresses or nice pantsuits, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants. Please no jeans. Also please be aware of randomly changing Colorado weather and plan accordingly with layers if need be.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Yes, we encourage you to take photos and share them with us! Just please be courteous of the professional photographer and stay out of the aisle.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named under your family rsvp are included. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the River Bend in Lyons. You are welcome to leave your car overnight if you are unable to drive home, but you must pick it up by 8am on Thursday the 24th. Please be advised that there are no Ubers or Lyfts in Lyons, so plan accordingly.

Is it possible to change my RSVP?

Answer

Of course, you’re welcome to change your mind! Our cut off date for RSVPs is August 15th. If you find you’re unable to make the ceremony after our cut off date please let us know so we can plan accordingly with food and seating arrangements.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both! We plan to have our ceremony outside under the shade of the trees, followed by dinner inside the reception barn. Incase of inclement weather we will provide umbrellas!

What food will be served?

Answer

We’re having a taco bar!! There will be a chicken, pork, and vegetarian/vegan options, as well as hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour. For dessert we have an ice cream bar!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We are providing beer and wine as well as a champagne toast. ABSOLUTELY no outside alcoholic beverages will be allowed under any circumstances, or you can be fined.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! Some areas might be harder to access due to grass.
