Join us for a light brunch and a day at the beach! Kids and guests welcome. Location: Van Buren State Park Picnic Shelter (go to the final beach parking lot and shelter is in the far corner) * A State Park pass is required for each vehicle entering the park - if you are from out of state or do not already have the state park pass on your license, please let the hosts know so we can cover the cost of entrance for you * Timing: Brunch will be served from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by time at the beach for those who want to hang! Food & Drinks: Waffles on a Stick Food Truck, Yogurt / Berries / Granola, Pastries & Quiche, Hot & Cold Coffee, Juice & various other beverages. Additional info: Near the shelter, there is a small soccer field, playground, sand volleyball court, and bathrooms. The beach is about a quarter-mile walk from where the shelter is either on a trail through the dunes, or a paved path. It can be a bit rocky near the water so water shoes are recommended if you have them.
