Bailey Park
Initially constructed in 1947 as a coal-fired power plant for the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, the Bailey Power Plant is reincarnated as a mixed-use workplace and entertainment hub in Wake Forest Innovation Quarter in Downtown Winston-Salem. Bailey Park is walking distance from the Kimpton Hotel.

Krispy Kreme
Did you know that Krispy Kreme doughnuts started in Winston-Salem? The original store was in historic Old Salem. While the store no longer exists, you can grab hot now doughnuts at any location.
Old Salem Museum & Gardens
For the history buffs...Old Salem is a historic district of Winston-Salem, North Carolina that was originally settled by the Moravian community in 1766. Old Salem is free to walk around, but if you are wanting to take part in some of the extra interactive exhibits then you will need a ticket.
