Brianne and Kayla both were born and raised near Reno, Nevada just on opposite sides of the city. There were many chances for interaction during that time as Brianne and Kayla both participated in High School Marching Band as well as the same sports. However, it was not until 2015 that both participated in the same Marching Band at the University of Nevada, Reno with Brianne being a tuba player and Kayla performing with the Colorguard. During this time Brianne and Kayla knew of each other through mutual friends and attending the same events. In the Fall of 2018, they began spending more time together with their first date being on October 31st in Virginia City where they walked through a cemetery, screamed through a haunted house, and ended the night with pizza and laughter.   Throughout the next few months Brianne and Kayla spent nights watching movies, enjoying bonfires with friends, playing with toothless (Kayla’s cat) and taking Milah (Kayla’s dog) to the lake or dog park. On November 22nd, 2018, Kayla asked Brianne to officially be her girlfriend. Brianne and Kayla have since moved to Manassas, Virginia in August of 2020 where they bought their first condo together. In Virginia, they spend their time exploring the region and expanded their fur family to include Everest (dog) and Oliver (cat).   Living in Virginia, Brianne and Kayla quickly found out that there is a lot of greenery but not many mountains to see all the views. On one of their explorations to find something new to do they went to a brewery called Bear Chase Brewing Company that had the most amazing view and live music. On July 5th, 2021, when Brianne’s parents were in town, they all went to Bear Chase where Kayla got down on one knee to propose to Brianne. Since that day both Brianne and Kayla have been ecstatic to share their wedding day with all their friends and family.
