As most of you know, our love story was at the heart of Trevor's family restaurant, Captain's Galley. I was young when I started working there, unaware that the man who would one day become the love of my life was in the back kitchen cooking away. It wasn't until a small family dinner at Aunt Lindsey's house that our paths truly crossed. Trevor walked in wearing his Captain's galley work shirt, quiet and a little timid. I was just as nervous- I had just seen the man of my dreams. Later that night, I gathered the courage to message him on Facebook. By the end of the evening, we had already made plans to hangout the very next day. From that moment on, our love story unfolded naturally. We began spending time together in March of 2017, officially started dating in June, and quickly became inseparable. What started as a simple message turned into something neither of us could have imagined. Now, almost eight years later, we will be standing by our friends and family, grateful for every step that brought us together and excited to continue this love story- hand in hand- for the rest of our lives.
