Alki is a beautiful spot in West Seattle. There is a long path along the beach you can walk down and enjoy the sights. Make sure to stop for fish and chips at Sunfish or for some arcade games at Gary's Place while you're there! Two of our very favorite West Seattle stops.
A classic PNW hike near Snoqualmie, WA - Child friendly with a moderate incline.
The name says it all - a waterfront park in Seattle that is a short walk from Seattle Aquarium, the Great Wheel, and Pike's Place Market.
Mount Rainier National Park is a great spot to visit on a sunny day. It's a few hours out of the city and there are plenty of meandering trails of all difficulty levels. We recommend visiting on a weekday or early in the morning on a weekend, as the road into the park gets very congested during sunny weekends.
