Maid of Honor
Sister of the bride Emma is my younger sister. Even though she is younger than me, I look up to her. She has taught me what it means to be kind, strong, and truly unique. She pushes me to be the best person I can be. We have countless memories sharing a bedroom, playing dollhouse, and going on sister dates to the lake or watching a movie. She is my go-to person for all things girly. Emma has always been my biggest fan and supporter. She is constantly by my side rooting for me and is always there to listen when I need her. She is the best little sister anyone could ask for and a life-long friend.
Best Man
Brother of the groom Seth is my older brother. Growing up, Seth would always be the designated “game designer” for all the Streachek siblings, and he made sure we were never bored. As a result, he and I got into an awful lot of shenanigans. I even have a scar on my eyebrow as a reminder of the time we played a game where the objective was to throw dirt clumps (or rocks) at each other. Seth has never lost his playful and goofy spirit, and he knows how to work just as hard as he plays. Seth is a faithful man of God, and I’ve always looked up to him, especially his selfless and generous heart.
Bridesmaid
Cousin of the bride Anna is my older cousin, although I have always thought of her as more of a big sister. Anna is light-hearted, laid-back, smart, and one of the funniest people I know. Growing up, she was the coolest babysitter, and always came up with the best games. As we have both grown older, she is my go-to person for advice. We have shared many long phone calls and she always makes time for whatever I need. Anna has a strong and devout faith life that has been an example and inspiration to me. I have looked up to Anna my entire life, and she is the kind of wife, mom, and person I aspire to be. I am forever grateful for the incredible role model and “big sister” Anna is to me.
Groomsman
Brother of the groom Simon my younger brother and closest to my age. We’ve always been side-by-side growing up. I have given him some scars to memorialize the adventures of our younger days. Simon is incredibly witty and has given the entire Streachek family endless laughs. I was his confirmation sponsor, and I have been very proud to see him strive to grow in holiness over the years. More recently, we have been lucky enough to work together over the summers at the city of Delano. His infectious, fun-loving attitude made me look forward to work every day. Simon inspires me to live in the present moment while more fully appreciating the company of those around me.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride Emilie has been one of my best friends since third grade. I was not sure of her at first, after she purposely stole my seat at lunch. However, over the years we bonded striving for A’s in school. We enjoyed many sleepovers painting nails, spinning too much on swings, and laughing till it hurt. She has been an incredible life-long friend. Together, we always find an adventure kayaking, horseback riding in the mountains, or finding wild ponies. Emilie is beautiful, intelligent, and talented. She is a constant inspiration to so many people and a huge blessing in my life.
Groomsman
Brother of the groom Saul is also my younger brother. Being only three years younger than me means that we also spent a lot of time together as kids. Perhaps the torments that he endured under the older Streachek brothers molded him into the strongest boy in the family. He is the sportiest one of the Streachek boys, and he reminds us of it in our yard football games. In recent years, I have been impressed by his intellectual curiosity. These days, if you don’t see Saul at the gym, then he is likely in his room reading. His faith fortifies me and encourages me to also be a better man of God.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom Shanie is Samson's older sister. When I first met the Streachek family, I was the most scared of Shanie. However, after I got to know her while we picked weeds together, I quickly realized what a special person she is. Shanie is supportive, adventurous, and genuine. She has the brightest personality of anyone I know. She is one of my favorite people to hang out with. We made some of my favorite memories during our once-in-a-lifetime road trip in Alaska. While Shanie is Samson's sister, she has become a close friend of mine. I absolutely admire her and am so excited to have her as a sister-in-law.
Groomsman
Brother of the bride Ryan is Brianna’s older brother. Ryan is thoughtful, intelligent, and insightful, especially when it comes to finances. While he may seem soft-spoken on the outside, once you get his competitive nature to come out, he will give you a run for your money. Ryan also cares deeply about those he loves, and it is evident in the way he treats his family and his fiancée, Melissa. His virtuous nature inspires me, and I am lucky to have someone like Ryan to count on as a brother-in-law.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom Selah is Samson’s younger sister. She is witty, resilient, and compassionate. I have never seen Selah without a smile on her face! As, the youngest of all eight Streachek siblings, she knows how to hold her own. She can usually be found whipping up something in the kitchen, working out, or giving someone a hard time. One of my favorite memories with Selah is staying up late and chatting during our sleepover at the Streachek house over the holidays. She has also made me her famous half-baked brownies, which are to die for! She is one special girl, and I cannot wait to have her as a sister-in-law.
Groomsman
Brother of the bride Jack is Brianna’s youngest brother. He always knows how to make those around him laugh, either intentionally or by his fun-loving goofiness. Jack is very competitive, yet no matter how many times you lose to him, you always seem to find yourself having fun. Jack has an infectious personality that cannot help but uplift your spirit when you are around him. I was told by Brianna that if her family gives me a hard time, then that means they like me. I am lucky to be reassured of that fact by Jack whenever I come over.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride Meghan is one of my best friends that I met while I was living in Omaha. As soon as I heard she was also in a long-distance relationship, I knew I wanted to be her friend. While we have not known each other long, we are incredibly close. We have so many memories having sleepovers, watching movies, cooking dinner, eating Canes and watching tv on the floor, and getting ice cream regularly. She is someone I talk to everyday and is always there when I need a listening ear. Meghan is unique, funny, selfless, and unlike any friend I have ever had. I am forever grateful for her one-of-a-kind friendship.
Groomsman
Friend of the groom Lucius has been my friend since second grade. When we met, we just clicked immediately. He and I have been on many adventures together. From winging presentations together (and trying not to laugh) to joining the golf team despite never really learning the rules, we have made many memories throughout the years. Lucius is also brilliant. You will never meet someone as entrepreneurial, intuitive, and unconventional (in the best way) as Lucius.
Personal Attendant
Friend of the bride Kirsten is one of my best friends. We met in OT school during orientation week and were lab partners for the next two years. We worked side by side and made school as stress free as possible for each other. We have spent many hours studying, laughing, and regularly eating BLTs before exams. I could not have made it through OT school without this girl. Kirsten is beautiful, selfless, creative, and funny. I can always count on her for a good conversation or laugh whenever I need it. Somehow, she always manages to give the best advice.
Usher
Brother-in-law of the groom Brock is my brother-in-law. Brock has had the unique ability to take all the years of grief that the Streachek boys have given him, and have some equally creative banter to throw back at us. If you want embarrassing photos or videos of any of the Streachek boys, then Brock is your ultimate resource. Brock is equally insightful as he is funny. Throughout the years, I have found myself seeking Brock’s advice on many issues, and he has never let me down.
Personal Attendant
Cousin of the bride Nikki is my older cousin. She is thoughtful, outgoing, and hysterical. Nikki is someone I can always count on for laughs and a good time. Growing up, I was attached to Nikki at all of the family gatherings. She is someone I have always looked up to. Once she got married, I made countless memories spending time at her house, having sleepovers, and watching her kids. I am forever grateful for these memories. Even though we do not see each other as often anymore, she is someone I will always be close with. Even when life gets busy, we are able to pick up right where life left off. I absolutely adore her, and she will always hold a special place in my heart.

Friend of the groom Harry is my sister Shelby’s boyfriend and my friend. Harry is a perfect mixture of fun, adventure, humor, and intensity. Harry is very easy to talk to; he and I have had the wildest conversations in the past. Harry and I can seamlessly transition from having deep, serious conversations to suddenly having the most sarcastic, jestful, and trivial conversations. Harry and Shelby lived in Chicago for the first two years of my time at university, and I frequently visited them to explore the city, make dinners, and have movie nights. Together, we made many memories. Be sure to look for Harry’s signature dance moves at the reception.
Flower Girl
Goddaughter of the bride Anya is my goddaughter. She is spunky, tough, smart, and a very busy young lady. Whenever we spend time together, she always keeps me on my toes. One of our favorite things to do together is make monster cupcakes. We also love swimming at the lake, going to the park, and getting Culver’s ice cream. Anya is always asking questions or making a funny remark. As the youngest of four, she is one tough little girl. I cherish the moments I get to spend with her and am so grateful to be her godmother. I am excited to continue to watch her grow!

Friend of the groom Louis is one of my closest friends from the University of Chicago. He and I have endured many brutal problem sets due to the many classes we have had together. There are countless times that we have been 12 hours into a problem set and hardly making progress yet have been laughing together through it all. Another fun fact about Louis is that he is from Paris, so he also serves as my European ambassador. He has had endless patience for the many times I have asked him for his insight on languages, cultural differences, and travel tips. Beyond being brilliant, Louis is the most dependable, patient, and thoughtful friend anyone could ask for, and I am lucky to have met him.
Flower Girl
Goddaughter of the bride Kya is my goddaughter. She is so smiley, and she is the sweetest little girl. I adore the time I get to spend with her. Whenever I am in town, I try to steal Kya for a day. I love holding her in my arms and she is content just being held for hours. She has started to develop a little personality and recently started imitating people. My favorite is when she copies people sticking out their tongues or laughs when everyone else is laughing! It is such an honor to be this cute girl’s godmother and I can not wait to watch her grow into a bright young lady.
Flower Girl
Goddaughter of the bride and groom Naomi is mine and Samson’s goddaughter and Samson’s niece. She is a busy, cute, and spirited baby. She has beautiful big eyes with the longest eye lashes. She is smiley and silly. With both of us being far away, we do not get to see Naomi often, but we love seeing her over Facetime and getting photos of her always makes our day. Naomi is so special to us, and we are so blessed to be her godparents. We love this little girl, and she has been growing so fast. We cannot wait to continue watching her grow up!
