When should I book my travel and accommodations?
Answer
We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure the best rates! Our wedding will take place on October 4, 2025 in Lake Buchanan, and we have some hotel and Airbnb recommendations on the travel page!

What’s the best way to get to the wedding location?
Answer
The nearest airport is Killeen, TX (GRK / KGRK) Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport, approximately an hour away from our venue or the Austin, TX (AUS / KAUS) Austin-Bergstrom International Airport which is about and hour and a half. We recommend flying in on October 3rd to give yourself time to relax and enjoy the destination.

What’s the dress code?
Answer
We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration! The dress code for our wedding is Semi-Formal. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place outdoors so plan accordingly.

What’s the weather like in Austin TX during that time of year?
Answer
Expect warm and sunny and cool in the evenings. We recommend bringing items like sunscreen, light layers, and comfortable shoes.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Answer
Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions so we can inform our caterers. You can include this information when you RSVP or reach out to us directly.

Will there be any other events besides the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We have planned a few fun events for our guests, including Welcome Dinner, Lake Day, and Brunch. Stay tuned for more details!
