Out of respect for our gardens and facilities, team and the host of your event, please be respectful of the rules and etiquette listed below to avoid unnecessary charges to the host’ security deposit. We are sorry but we do charge when guests or visitors breaks these rules as they affect our property, team and our use permit. Some rules are by our decision; however, many are requirements of our County Operational Permit. We thank you in advance for respecting these rules, our site, our customers’ investment and our team. Very Strict No Drone Policy Stay on the walking paths and out of the flower beds. Avoid treading on plants or grasses (other than on the Main Lawn and Foxglove Meadow). Specifically, the No mow grass by the train tracks – it is delicate. Please do not pick flowers or fruit. Do not urinate outside of the Restroom (yes, this happens…) If liquor is being provided at the event, no shots, neat pours or on the rocks. Please manage your consumption in a way that allows for a clean event and safe departure (ie. no vomiting {biohazard], drinking and driving). No outside alcohol including flasks, handles, pocket shots, trunk bars, etc. Do not take alcohol from the bar, it must be served by the hired Catering Staff/Bar. All smoking must be contained in the designated smoking area across from the Barn, including cigarettes, cannabis, vapes, etc. (the parking lot is not a smoking area). Especially given the current drought and Wildfires, we take this very seriously and there will be deductions. Parents are responsible to be with and supervising their children at all times – supervising for safety and to protect the integrity of the site Shoes must be worn at all times. No Balloons Please don’t empty your drinks or ice in the gardens. Please use a designated trash can or give to the hired Catering staff. Only service animals are permitted. Wedding couples may bring their animal with event contract and manager approval. Guests may not bring their animals.
Berating, yelling, becoming physical with, using expletives towards or about the Nestldown team at events will result in a violation of the Civility Clause in the Customer’s Contract and a charge – you may also be asked to leave.
The shuttle will pick you up at 2:45 PM at the Nob Hill Grocery store parking lot; 809 Bay Ave, Capitola, CA 95010. This is about a 10 minute walk from downtown or a very short drive. Drop off will be to the same location. You will not be able to Uber in the evening, but you can Uber there if you'd prefer. There will be 2 shuttles that hold 25 people each
22420 Old Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos, CA 95033. Please keep in mind that you CAN uber to the event, but you will need to be on the shuttle back as ubers will not likely pick you up at the venue at night.
It's a spring wedding, thus it's not black tie. Pantsuits/dresses/etc are encouraged. If you're wearing yeezies, you may be escorted off the premises...

Duh, that's kinda the point. This should be a super fun and easy place for the kids to have a great time and hopefully build lots of memories! That said, we ask you keep an eye on the kiddos and make sure they don't wander too far from site. The space is large and there are places off the beaten track with poison ivy (not the kinds of memories we're going for).
